Cameron Highlands

Hello all,

Ben and I are in the Cameron Highlands at the moment, staying in a place called Father's Guest House. The beds are all in these huge metal air raid shelter type things. It's quite odd but actually very comfy. The main bit of the hostel is in a different bit where there is a lounge and cafe. We have watched a lot of movies because it rains all afternoon here so you have to do your activities in the mornings. Yesterday neither of us were very well so we stayed here all day watching movies and having naps. Today we are much better so we went on a countryside tour. We went to a Rose Centre, A Strawberry Farm, a Butterfly Farm (very cool - I have never seen suge huge and beautiful butterflies), a Tea Plantation (very interesting and had a nice cup of tea), A Honey Bee center (ok), A Buddhist temple (seen a LOT of these in the last couple of weeks) and I think some other places which I have already forgotten. It was quite a good morning but as soon as we got back it started raining really really heavily so we have just stayed here this afternoon. Tomorrow we plan on doing a walk following one of the trails around the Highlands.

I hope you are all OK and still reading this :)
