Hot

It is very hot. Like a sweaty sauna. But very nice nonetheless. We went for an adventure this morning and ended up in completely the wrong direction and had to change our bearings until we had north in the right place.

Once we started going the right way, we walked through Little India towards Raffles Hotel. Little India is beautiful.. We stopped at a temple and took our shoes off to go in and have a look around. There were lots of statues to Hindu Gods and Goddesses in bright bright colours and a few people praying.

By the time we got down towards Raffles and the Convention Centre we were both pretty knackered so we sat on a bench by the water looking over the Central Business District on one side and an Island made from reclaimed land on the other. There are so many Skyscrapers here and almost all of them are well designed and pleasant to look at which made a difference.

This afternoon during our trip around the many air-conditioned malls of Singapore, we found a million and one restaurants, cafe's and food courts stuffed with tasty tasty treats. We had lunch in the brand new 'Marina Food Hall' and we ate Chicken wrapped in Seaweed and then deepfried. Yum.

Since I was getting really really tired, we decided to go and watch Harry Potter at the cinema in the mall instead of waiting for the evening. It was good but mainly for the visuals.. the acting of the three main characters was pretty lame.

I'm knackered. Bed time I think. Will try and get some photos up when we have access to the right computer. Oh and an update on yesterday.. The TV doesn't work. The Air-conditioning does though and that's what matters.
